The infrastructure boom just keeps increasing and now is the time to become part of it. Currently seeking a Communications Officer to work for a leader in the Rail and Transport Industry in Melbourne CBD on a 6 month contract.

Responsibilities
•Responsible for providing communications and stakeholder engagement support to the Customer team and major projects under the direction and guidance of the Customer Experience Manager.
•Assist in the development and implementation of communications strategies and materials to reach multiple audiences and stakeholders.
•Liaising with a high volume of stakeholders.
•Support the roll out of proactive and engaging programs for customers, through effective communication across multiple relevant channels.
•Help improve the company’s reputation through organising engaging and relevant community events.
•Coordinate the development, production and distribution of service and disruption information (including but not limited to press ads, posters and digital channels), ensuring a high level of accuracy and that all materials are produced and distributed to customers in adequate time.
•Website, digital screen and Intranet - content creation and management support.

Skills & Experience
•Tertiary qualifications in Communications / Marketing or equivalent experience
•Clear writing skills to develop communication materials for a range of channels
•Effective management of internal and external stakeholders to achieve engagement and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
•An ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
•Planning and event management skills to plan, coordinate and implement detailed communications strategies across multiple channels
•A high level of accuracy and anticipation of customer needs is required
•Ability to manage time effectively and handle competing priorities
