This important role looks after both consumer and enterprise marketing strategy. Our client is looking for a digital marketing specialist to help drive significant growth across both consumer and enterprise markets.


The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for a marketing professional to help drive hyper growth across ANZ. Working with a small but growing team the Marketing Manager ANZ will be responsible for local strategy and execution across both of the important segments. This role will start as a sole marketing resource owning the local strategy but with deep support from the APAC region. The role holder will have responsibility for

  • ANZ Marketing strategy and planning: Develop, implement and analyse marketing strategy and programs for Australia and New Zealand market. Execute the programs across multiple channels in meeting established ROI goal. Drive demand generation, brand awareness, digital marketing efforts and be a direct catalyst in business growth of the region.
  • Collaboration: To develop and work with APAC and global marketing team to develop a strong and consistent regional and integrated business driven marketing plan that will engage customers and prospects, and promote products and industry leading capabilities.
  • Product Launches: Overview of roll-out of new product launches at a local level including communications with field sales, press and analysts, and communications with end-users and delivery of localised materials
  • Lead Generation/Campaigns: Review locally developed marketing program content and campaigns. Ensure go to market messages are consistent, relevant and effective. Establish feedback and measurement mechanisms to understand which communications tools and messages are most effective.
  • Retail marketing: Work hand in hand with retail sales team to jointly develop retail account plans and plan investments in displays, store recommendations and promotional calendars. Create pull through using social media
  • Demand creation: Create consumer pull using social media and digital marketing to drive traffic to retail and online sellers thereby driving sell out of products. Development of end-customer database to create loops of growth
  • Budget and ROI: Manage the ANZ marketing budget strategically by creating plans that are aligned to the growth strategy. Measuring effectiveness of marketing dollars by campaign to cash tracking and ROI analysis. Using a combination of global company marketing collateral and a directory of amazing customer case studies the Marketing Manager ANZ will stamp their own creative/innovative mark on the local business.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be an ambitious marketing professional who is experienced in engaging digital audiences and brings digital transformation skills to the business. The candidate will be data driven and will work hand in hand with the sales organisation to dissect data. The successful candidate will be a creative and lateral thinker, with experience in running campaigns and retail marketing specifically in Tier 1 and Tier 2 ecosystems. The candidate would be responsible for building a strong community of followers and key influencers.

A degree or higher in marketing, communications or a related field of study is required for this role.

This is a complex mix of B2B and B2C with some bias towards B2C however if you have a curiosity towards B2C we need to be talking!
