  • This role can be located in either Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

About the role

As Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting, defining and automating customer lifecycle and personalised communication programs, including onboarding, to achieve business outcomes.

More specifically you will

  • Execute needs based 1:1 automated event and trigger-based marketing programs to grow customer lifetime value, revenue, retention and connected customer metrics.
  • Support the Brand and Marketing teams with customer lifecycle programs and key initiatives.
  • Assist with developing new capabilities, MVPs and future needs for customer lifecycle management.
  • Identify data connection points across the group to improve and inform 1:1 customer campaigns.
  • Identify and integrate new sources of data to drive program insight and effectiveness.
  • Execute frameworks and processes for automated customer programs ie Outbound, Remarketing, Lifecycle - across all brands and products.
  • Execute test and learn programs to drive marketing effectiveness existing customer lifecycle programs.
  • Execute key retention strategies in the Outbound Channels.
  • Develop ongoing new strategic initiatives for the 1:1 Marketing programs.
  • Maximise ROI of customer lifecycle programs.
  • Lead the sharing of insights and experience to relevant workgroups on best practise customer lifecycle programs.
  • Work collaboratively with Platform and wider Marketing Automation teams to deliver seamless customers experiences.

 Knowledge and Experience

  • Several years of data driven marketing experience
  • Experience executing customer lifecycle activities – eDM, OTM, DM
  • Previous experience with direct marketing processes including OTM, eDM, SMS and content
  • Several years of marketing experience in a similar environment (either Client or Agency side) with a focus on direct marketing and/or customer marketing
  • Exposure to 1:1 automated event and trigger-based marketing programs including retention and loyalty programs
  • Understanding of databases, analytics and marketing automation technology
  • Exposure to ROI marketing management and budget management
