Marketing Assistant

About the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant at our head office in Melbourne. Your role will be to help raise the image of MTData and enhance communication across all brands and industries, globally.
- Prepare marketing collateral i.e. brochures, promotional items, trade show material
- Ensure company branding is consistant
- Provide well-written and creative content including web articles and press releases
- Manage and organise involvement in tradeshows, sponsorship and conferences
- Website management including uploading content (WordPress)
- Provide weekly updates using the CRM and ad-hoc CRM administration duties
- Develop and distribute EDM's (digital newsletters) internally and externally
- External agency coordination including working with Google AdWords agency
We are looking for someone with:
- At least 1 year professional marketing/communications experience
- Bachelor degree in marketing, communications or a related discipline (preferred)
- Impeccable writing skills and ability to write creative and persuasive content
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite is essential
- Experience with Adobe Software including Photoshop and In-Design will be advantageous but is not essential
- Understanding of Google AdWords will be advantageous but is not essential
