Are you a motivated and dynamic Online Engagement Coordinator, do you want a flexible working environment and fantastic pay! Then look no further because this is the contract for you. We are looking for an Online Engagement Co-ordinator for a 6 month Government Contract to assist with the execution of the Department of Education's social media and content strategies.
The Coordinator will help drive engagement and acquisition with our parent and teacher audiences through engaging daily content and skilful community management.
Main accountabilities
- Community management - Monitor and respond to conversations on our social media channels
- Reporting - Use the department's analytics tools to provide accurate reporting on the performance of the department’s social channels and social media conversations.
- Contribute to the development of high quality content for the department digital and social channels.
- Collaborate and provide assistance as required for content authors and publishers to deliver best practice content across the Department.
- Database management - manage internal databases such as the school social media database to ensure they are kept up to date.
Essential requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in a digital marketing or communications role either within an agency or client side
- Experience using social and digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite and Synthesio.
- Experience using content management systems, Squiz Matrix is preferred.
- Understanding of popular social networks and social management tools- design, functionality, users
- Demonstrated expertise in engaging and moderating social media communities
- Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve marketing goals
