Have you ever thought of a career change into one of the most exciting and cutting-edge marketing disciplines that have emerged in the past 10 years? If so, we may have the opportunity for you – we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join us on an initial 12 month fixed-term basis.

The opportunity

As a Marketing Coordinator you will support the Marketing team with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested. You will be involved in every aspect of marketing work and will work collaboratively with the team and to assist them to achieve targets and customer satisfaction.

You will be part of a team who are responsible for the entire customer journey; from acquisition through to retaining our customers to drive deep customer engagement and help reduce churn. You will learn how to develop and execute a wide variety of campaigns to ensure we are delivering the right creative/message, in the right channel, at the right time, in innovative ways.

Your tech savvy, data driven, and detail oriented with proven hands-on experience working collaboratively with multiple teams in a fast and dynamic environment.

In this newly created role, the successful candidate will:

  • Assist in implementing highly personalised and relevant acquisition campaigns in both traditional and digital mediums
  • Assist in implementing a range of upsell and cross-sell efforts to ensure customers are in the right subscription plan with the right mix of add-ons to maximise lifetime value and customer satisfaction
  • Assist in the execution of the communications plan leveraging appropriate marketing channels (paid media, SEO, email, In-App/Push, social, etc.).
  • Help define and document briefs, business rules, data/tech requirements, system integrations as well as process and procedures for all marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with all relevant teams to design, implement and evaluate personalised omni channel campaigns. Ensure all campaigns have key metrics identified, tracked and analysed with insights.
  • Learn to utilise audience segmentation, actionable cohorts, perform analysis and conduct ongoing A/B testing for optimisation.
  • Work with our Product, Technology, Service and Data teams to define feature and data requirements to create new communication channels and improve the intelligence available for relevant, personalised, real-time marketing
  • Learn to evaluate, on-board and integrate with new partners / suppliers that move the business forward, simplify and speed up processes, as well as increase effectiveness of tactics/programs.

Candidate profile

  • You have 2-4 years’ experience within a business or marketing environment, preferably within the e-commerce sector
  • You have a proven track record supporting and organising teams to achieve department success
  • You are prepared for a challenge and can adapt to ever changing requirements in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • You have a keen interest in database marketing, data/tech requirements gathering and evolving of customer engagement technologies specifically Adobe Marketing Cloud / Salesforce
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and data driven problem-solving skills
  • You have exposure to or experience with budget management
  • You are a positive team plater who can operate in a very fast paced environment with ambiguity
  • You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • You have strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience working with large B2C or subscription companies is favourable, as is a relevant a tertiary qualification in marketing or other related fields.
