With global headquarters based in trendy Marrickville, Sydney we are looking for an experienced self-starter with a commercial and entrepreneurial spirit to join our dynamic and fast paced Innovations Team.

As an autonomous multi skilled Senior Product Manager you will primarily lead the product development of Amenity brands and ensure timely project completion – you will not only encompass strong communication skills and have a commercially driven mind but will also add value to the organisation and be self-motivated and be open to learn.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage end to end formulations and developments of amenity program across all brands and oversee custom amenity projects
• Manage the internal and external communications processes for new product development including ideation, market research, managing timelines, negotiating MOQs, formula attributes/benefits and ingredient listings
• Clearly communicate roadmap, project status, launch dates and project metrics to support product initiatives on an ongoing basis with relevant departments
• Create NPD Financials (encapsulates COGS, BOMS & forecasting)
• Create timelines for each project
• Be commercially minded and continually identify opportunities for improvement across amenities and retail across all brands, both short-term and long-term
• Building strong relationships and maintaining effective communication with both domestic and international suppliers (primarily liaising with China)
• Manage internal and external stakeholders
• Label and sort all product samples to ensure correct QC & QA

Education & Experience:

• University or similar tertiary qualification.
• Minimum of two years relevant experience, with a proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and new product development within the skincare / cosmetic industry preferred
• Highly organised and comfortable to manage multiple projects to meet timelines
• Intermediate computer MS offices skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ensure timely project completion
• Deal with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
• Team player with a flexible approach to your work
• Experience with Asana will be looked upon favourably
