At Honesty Box we want to help make Australia’s broadband great; that’s why we exist. And we do this by providing independent broadband measurement services to Australian consumers and businesses (typically internet service providers and telco’s).

Our tech, testing and data means we can measure the performance of a broadband connection and provide independent measurement of that service. We have 1000’s of Honesty Boxes in Australian homes quietly measuring the quality of users internet connection and that means we generate millions of test results that get analysed and turn into reports, graphs and visuals.

You’ll get to do and own a broad range of communications and engagement activities and it’ll be hands-on in a friendly environment where team members often pick up tasks outside their area of specialty in order to help each other out.

The role is a mashup of communications, customer engagement and data. We know it might be hard to find someone who has all of this experience so we’re willing to teach and coach the data part. A background in comms is a must.

Digital Communications

  • Comms – You gotta love writing and communicating across all platforms: web, email, blogs, articles, sales packs, collateral, help desk
  • Customer onboarding – looking after our users from the moment a potential user hears about us to when they become a free (B2C) or paying (B2B) customer
  • Customer engagement – engaging and supporting free and paying users
  • Assist with optimising the way we recruit and engage users and customers
  • Distribution – helping our Ops team with dispatch and logistics.

Data – nice to have

  • Perform and own monthly data preparation, report and dashboards generation tasks
  • Proactively identify data quality improvement opportunities
  • Perform and own regular data quality audits and Data Quality Dashboard updates

Skills and experience

  • Any degree where you’ve mastered comms
  • 2-4 years practicing your craft
  • You love words, write well and your English is excellent
  • Working agile or are keen to learn
  • Know how to prioritise
  • MailChimp or a willingness to master
