We are an Australian owned group of companies with 450 employees. We engage in the distribution, design, manufacture, service and repair of industrial hydraulic, engine, irrigation and pump products to a variety of industries. Questas Corporate provides shared services including Legal, Marketing, IT, Finance, Logistics, WH&S and Administration support to the group companies.
The position
Questas Marketing operates as an internal marketing agency, providing marketing solutions to group companies.
We are seeking someone who can work collaboratively with the marketing team to deliver strategically sound, timely, reliable and cost-effective digital marketing solutions to group companies. You will be responsible for the digital presence of multiple businesses to maximise sales and customer experience whilst supporting the wider marketing team with the digital components of their marketing programs and activities.

Key responsibilities:
- Proactively explore innovative and new digital marketing opportunities
- Develop content, including new products, for loading across various digital platforms
- Work with developers and internal contacts to develop new sites and improve current sites
- Utilise Wordpress to manage content on our websites
- Develop, manage and report on online advertising including adword campaigns and banner advertising
- Create and execute eDM’s as required, utilising Hubspot and Mailchimp
- Optimise our sites utilising SEO best practise
- Database development, interpretation and segmentation
- Liase with our hosting companies and IT department to resolve site issues as they arise
- Work with team members to manage our digital agencies
What can you bring to the role?
We are after someone with strong, broad digital knowledge, coupled with a sound knowledge of the overall marketing function. Our ideal candidate is a robust problem solver with impeccable attention to detail and strong, hands on practical experience.
Essentials skills and experience:
- Strong, practical CMS experience, coupled with experience using Google Analytics/Adwords
- Ability to use technology as a tool for growing brand awareness and customer engagement
- Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented
- Strong social media skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge of Inbound Marketing tools eg Hubspot
- Basic html knowledge
- eCommerce experience would be an advantage
- Ability to write digital copy, with one eye on SEO
- CRM experience preferred, Salesforce would be a bonus
- 3+ years practical experience essential
