Your new company
One of the largest Victorian State Government Departments is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join the organisation for a period of 4 months. This role will assist the Director, Strategic Communications and Major Events.
Your new role
The Strategic Communications Manager will take the lead on the Department's communication strategy and work with groups to plan a narrative that aligns with the Department's policy strategy. You will lead a team of advisors who are responsible for project managing major communication activity and works closely with managers in the Communications Division and across the Department to deliver a coordinated approach to communications.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will have high level strategic communications experience, ideally in a government organisation. You will have experience leading a team and have the ability to provide strategic communications advise to key internal and external stakeholders.
