We are a well-established SME that continues to innovate and develop private label and branded products that gain market recognition with Australian leading food retailers and brand owners.  An exciting opportunity is now available for an established Brand Manager to build brand awareness from ideation to launch.

 

This is a full-time, 12-month contract role, with view to permanency.  It will report to the Commercial Business Manager.  The role will act as the brand owner ensuring the business delivers exceptional brand experiences.

 

Developing and delivering on a brand within the Health & Well-being category your passion for this sector and market awareness is essential.  The role will be accountable for defining target audiences, building awareness and developing & delivering integrated marketing communications and brand programs.  Specific areas of responsibility include:

 

  • Key liaison with agency partners to drive end to end development and facilitate PR, media engagement, influencer relations and thought leadership programs
  • Develop and manage marketing campaign and message calendars ensuring and approving content for voice, message and segmentation
  • Create and own brand strategy, acting as brand champion and monitoring awareness tracking, competitor and trending
  • Produce targeted content with key stakeholders to ensure content is on brand, on message, targeted and delivered in the right channels
  • Develop, launch, grow and maintain new product development
  • Manage communication and creative agency relationships accordingly
  • Provide recommendation and insight into overall marketing spend and manage to this established (approved) budget

 

The role is primarily autonomous, so we are looking for an expert in this field, someone who has expertise, passion and drive for establishing and developing brands.  Tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce with a marketing major or similar discipline is highly desirable.  Proven experience in successful brand strategy as well as experience in a variety of media platforms is equally important.  A high level of influence, initiative and confidence.  You will need to bring strong business acumen and commercial astuteness would be advantageous.
