House of Brand (houseofbrandgroup.com) and Screen Audience Research Australia (SARA)(screenaudienceresearch.com) are next wave research and planning consultancies experiencing lots of organic growth with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Los Angeles and Tokyo.

We have 30+ staff globally and growing and have a position available for a Graduate Brand and Advertising Research Executive in our Melbourne office.

House of Brand has very deep client relationships across some of the biggest and most iconic brands in Australia and the world, and Screen Audience Research Australia (Screen Audience Research International in the USA) works with Hollywood studios, government agencies and production companies on the entertainment side.

Our team, along with our sister production/financing company Cowlick Entertainment Group (cowlickentertainment.com), is made up of brand strategists, research specialists, story-tellers and film producers. Our housemates love taking initiative, are inventive problem solvers, are happiest when continually pioneering, have strong creativity and very high quality standards of delivery. We exist to create more conscious brands for a more conscious world by energising brand action.

 

About the role

We are seeking a recent graduate with a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills and a real 'can-do' attitude to work in our growing Melbourne office.  Someone who is an over-achiever and has high standards, and is both literate and numerate.

Training will be provided as part of our 18 month Graduate Executive Academy program where you will rotate across all aspects of brand health, advertising, data analysis, media effectiveness, qualitative and quantitative research, cultural insight and film and TV audience research.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualified ideally in Marketing or Communications
  • Passion for brands, media and advertising and innate curiosity and interest in people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical, interpretive and organisational skills
  • Strong numerical skills
  • The ability to multi-task and complete components of a project
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to play a proactive team role
  • Motivated to learn and show initiative
  • Command and understanding of PowerPoint, Excel (familiarity with Q or SPSS a bonus!)
  • Must love the idea of working in a dynamic, fast growing, social environment with great benefits and opportunity to fast-track your career
