THE CLIENT
A Premium Property Group with a national presence is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager for their Shopping Centre, located in the southern suburbs of Perth. This centre is in the planning stages for an imminent phase 2 redevelopment, which offers an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced shopping centre marketing manager to apply their strategic skill set to an expanding centre.

The successful candidate will be in a leadership position with autonomy over creative and strategic planning, and control over the marketing budget unaffected by national campaign, with a strong support team.

 
THE ASSIGNMENT

• Creating and implementing the strategic marketing plan within specified budgets
• Closely analysing the key performance indicators of the asset including traffic, sales and PR
• Building strong relationships with retailers ensuring you understand their business and being quick to identify any issues
• Monitoring your competitors and ensuring you maintain a point of difference
• Managing all aspects of PR for the Centre
• Rolling out campaigns with clearly defined objectives - measuring the ROI  - then analysing ways for improvement
• Managing & mentoring a Marketing Executive
• Engaging with the local community groups to encourage and drive traffic

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary qualified in marketing or relevant degree
• Previous experience in a Senior Marketing role within a property and/or retail environment
• Experience in driving strategy and innovation whilst leading an operational team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to build relationships
• Motivated and operational
• Strong attention to detail 
• Strong experience in strategic and creative marketing
