Our client is looking for a young, savvy marketing professional looking for their next adventure to join their growing team in Port Moresby as the country’s Brand Manager.

The role
This role provides a rare opportunity to balance creativity with strategy. With a love for all things branding, you will be responsible for the direction, management and growth of the brand’s identity. Using your previous marketing experience, you will assist the National Trade Marketing Manager, leveraging key market insights and data to inform strategy and new production development (NPD) initiatives.
A typical week will see you leading a team of marketing professionals; coordinating branding activities with internal departments, suppliers and customers; developing and executing branding strategies to support sales; and championing innovative brand and NPD activities.

Keys to success
  • Bachelor of Business / Management (Marketing)
  • 3 – 5 years’ of experience in brand marketing
  • Experience in FMCG
  • Business development experience highly regarded
  • Proven ability to develop branding and NPD strategies and implement channel feedback
  • Strong commercial acumen – you’re comfortable managing budgets, running reports and using data to inform your decisions
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence
  • Sense of adventure and curiosity – you’re willing to travel into the field to learn more about your market and understand consumer needs
