As one of Australia’s fastest growing technology companies, we are seeking a proactive and determined individual to drive the growth of the marketplace through communications, media and partnership strategies.
The ideal candidate will be a self starter with outstanding partnership management capabilities, incredible negotiation skills and proven experience in delivering growth initiatives and generating media coverage.
This individual is able simultaneously work on a variety of priority tasks, work within tight deadlines and take accountability for their results.
Duties
- Develop and execute new corporate communications strategies and initiatives to drive seller growth and leadership status
- Manage, drive and acquire B2B strategic partnerships to support company growth
- Maintain relationships with marketplace channel and integration partners
- Develop and execute the media relations strategy which includes creating targeted messaging, generating proactive media coverage business media and acting as the company spokesperson.
- Coordinate and drive on site advertising revenue
- Work in conjunction with the core leadership team (Sales & Marketing) to support new business initiatives
- Producing a variety of corporate content inclusive of website copy, media kits and company documentation.
To succeed in this role, you will be a self starter, results driven and focused. In addition you will possess the following attributes:
- 4+ years in a similar role
- Proven stakeholder management with the ability to negotiate persuasively
- The ability to identify opportunities, develop and manage partnerships to secure commercial outcomes
- Proven experience in gaining media coverage in key Australian business and trade media
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and with influence, understand and adapt to different audiences
- Takes a proactive approach to achieving business objectives
- Tertiary qualifications in a marketing/ PR/communications.
A bonus, but not essential:
- Experience in a fast paced technology or retail company
- Previously in B2B facing role
- Experience in sales or advertising
