Consumer Australia – Digital Consumer

Within the Consumer group, the Digital Performance Marketing & Analytics team is responsible for driving an integrated digital marketing strategy and continual optimisation across all digital media channels to deliver against online, tele sales and retail sales targets.

Social Media Manager

Working with the broader Digital Sales and Marketing teams, the Social Media Manager will implement organic social media campaigns and look at holistic approach of social including paid implementation of social media strategies.

Liaising with our Digital agencies, you will get involved in looking at what we do, how we do it and how we implement our strategies. This is a great opportunity to help create a seamless social media entity across all our channels such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Another part of your role might involve trying to increase our follower base on all social media channels and help promote Optus as a vibrant and Digitally centric brand.

A go-getter with a passion for all things digital, you will love to create, innovate and drive amazing digital and social media strategies, keeping the customer at the forefront of your mind! You will have boundless energy and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across a complex business to deliver against your plans.

The nitty gritty:

  • Relevant experience in social media marketing and implementation of social media campaigns, digital marketing, content marketing and brand across both B2C and B2B
  • Experience in Facebook Business Manager
  • Must have worked across various Social Media platforms
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, CRMs, and digital best practice
  • Seasoned experience influencing and managing stakeholders and outcomes
