About the Company
HVTC (Hunter Valley Training Company) is one of Australia’s oldest Group Training Organisations (GTO) having employed and trained more than 20,000 people over the past 37 years. Our Rutherford based Head Office is looking for a motivated and creative professional who is passionate about supporting the HVTC brand.
About the Role
You will assist the Marketing and Communications unit provide effective and efficient support for all operational activities related to corporate communication, marketing and promotional activities to support the branding, profile and reputational standing of HVTC.
This position gives you the opportunity to:
- Update and maintain the company website and social media channels
- Assist in the production of monthly e-newsletters and company publications
- Develop and manage relationships with media contacts and organisations on regional, state and national levels
- Generate and distribute media releases and editorial content for corporate and regional branches
- Assist with the design of HVTC marketing collateral when required - InDesign skills desirable
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in communications/marketing or related field
- Experience within communications and marketing roles
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Social media and website content management experience
- Advanced computer skills and an ability to learn new software
- An innovative, creative flair and professional approach
- Attention to detail, ability to juggle conflicting priorities and resourcefulness in the facilitation of marketing and communication activities
