We are seeking a Product Manager who is commercially savvy, has a strong sense of style with an appreciation for timeless design, and experience in end-to-end product/category management for an exciting role with an Australian leader in design excellence.
The Business:
Rogerseller is a privately-owned business that has been in operation for over 120 years. Rogerseller have an excellent reputation within the market place both within the retail and the professional sectors. Clients include Designers, Architects & Specifiers, and design savvy retail customers.
Rogerseller are recognised leaders in designing high end bathroom and living systems. They design their own exquisite product ranges as well as importing some of Europe and the world's most elegant and innovative ranges.
The Role:
In this role, you will be essential in supporting the business's ongoing growth and success. You will have the opportunity to bring together your passion for beautiful things, appreciation of innovative design, commercial acumen, product/category management experience and take ownership of end-to-end product management processes.
Reporting to the Group Manager Design, you will ensure that "product" supports the company's overall market positioning, strategy and goals. You will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Sales, Brand, Procurement and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
In this role you will be responsible for the Business's Bathroom and Kitchen categories. You will have a team of direct reports including a Technical Product Developer, Product Designer and Product Administrator.
You:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have:
- At least 10 years' experience (5 in product/category management roles) ideally in a related sector
- A highly developed sense of style and appreciation for excellence in design Capability to manage entire supply chain and all associated processes
- Demonstrable commercial acumen including budget management and financial decision making Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities
- Preparedness to travel internationally as required Strong professional drive to succeed, high energy levels, and be highly organised
- Well-developed analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, or related disciplines (not essential but would be very highly regarded)
