Overview:

We have a newly created opportunity for a commercially minded Trade Marketing professional to join our Trade Marketing team as Trade and Shopper Lead.    This is an exciting role for an individual who thrives in a fast moving and changing environment.

Job Profile:

  • Lead the development of the category trade agenda for Allergy and Cough & Cold across our pharmacy and grocery channels
  • Collaborate with marketing, and sales to create “what good looks like” based on shopper and customer insight.
  • Lead the development of innovative category visions including growth drivers, & portfolio / channel choices, based on category deep dive reviews and key shopper insights
  • Create competitive advantage through insight driven, best practice led, account standards covering the 4ps (Presence, Placement, Promotions and Pricing)
  • Lead the channel, customer and shopper inputs within innovation & EPD projects being the voice of the “shopper and customer” for Sanofi’s Allergy, Cough & Cold product portfolios
  • Management of category shopper analytics and insights related to focal categories – turning insights into commercial actions

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in FMCG or Consumer Healthcare
  • The ability to Influence key stakeholders and navigate complex situations, challenging the status quo
  • Working knowledge of Category Management principles and processes
  • Proven ability to anticipate changes in the environment accurately and adapt thinking appropriately.
  • Proven willingness to take ownership, accept accountability for results, deliver, share success and develop high levels of performance within the team.
  • Well-developed strategic thinking, commercial acumen, financial acumen and experience in analysis to derive insight.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in relevant field (Marketing, Business Management)
