Aruga is the PR and communications sibling agency to the multi award-winning Rumble Creative & Media, headquartered in West End, Brisbane. With an enviable portfolio of well-known brands canvassing the arts, lifestyle, travel and hospitality industries, we’re on the hunt for our tenth PR gun to fill the role of Senior Account Manager.
The role:
We are specifically seeking a public relations professional who lives and breathes media relations and developing communications strategies for our clients. This Senior Account Manager role will service a variety of client accounts across the arts, lifestyle, tech and hospitality industries. On any given day, you may be required to interview key talent, write a media release, pitch a news story, facilitate a media call, lead a client meeting or build a communications strategy. We treat every project as unique, and as such, deliverables will vary depending on individual client needs and goals.
We’ll swipe right for:
- Proven experience developing and implementing strategic public relations campaigns
- Significant experience managing a diverse client portfolio including national brands
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong media contacts and knowledge of the Australian media landscape
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work autonomously
- Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- The ability to laugh when things get curly
Bonus Points:
- Tourism, arts, hospitality and lifestyle marketing and publicity experience and a demonstrable passion for all things creative
- Social media know-how
- Agency experience

Salary: From $75K - $90K. Salary package negotiable based on experience.
