The Company

Their Product Management teams are focussed on building and taking to market the most customer centric portfolios with a desire to lead the market in customer experience. Due to internal promotion they have a rare opportunity to take the lead of their Automotive Finance team
The Role
As the Automotive lending industry continues to change and be effected by new regulations our client is looking for a highly experienced Head of Product to take the lead in designing highly engaging products and services to attract and grow customer numbers
The Head of Product will lead a team of 5 product management professionals and provide advice to senior leadership on the direction of the Product Suite across multiple brands and partnerships through a period of increased regulation and change.
Your role will see you take responsibility for:
- Work with the Head of Business Lending Product & Pricing to lead the development and design of the Product Strategy and Product Roadmap.
- Understand emerging industry and legislative changes and be able to offer advice on the impact to the product strategy.
- Identify opportunities for product development, enhancement and retirement with a focus on how to manage the portfolio through complex pricing structures and the impacts of comprehensive credit reporting.
- End to end product management of the existing product portfolio
- Empower your team to have autonomy to develop and execute short and long term product strategies in alignment with your overall strategy for the business unit.
- Ensure all product strategy aligns with the overall brands and offers Australians true choice and value
The Person
To be successful you will be an energetic, innovative and strategic leader with extensive experience in the lending industry.
Ideally will have experience in automotive finance but essential is your ability to lead teams and a proven ability to drive change in an organisation whilst gaining buy in from existing stakeholders across multiple business units.
You will have strong P/L and pricing skills with an ability to think creatively and identify opportunities in a time of change. You will be passionate about sharing your proven ability to increase business performance whilst keeping the customer at the centre of all decisions.
