About Skimax Holidays

We are a leading wholesale travel company who specialises in ski and snowboarding holidays. At Skimax, we have over 20 years’ experience planning and booking ski holidays so we really are ‘in the snow’ when it comes to helping our clients plan their next trip. Our aim is to provide quality ski packages that are tailor-made using first-hand knowledge. We sell ski destinations all around the world including North America, Japan, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.

The role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our fun and slightly snow obsessed team.

This role will see you working alongside a passionate team to promote ski holidays to both travel agents and direct clients. This exciting role is primarily responsible for all brand activity and the development and delivery of all media and marketing touch points across all channels, including social, web, online and print.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Marketing Planning – Develop strategic marketing plans for Skimax Holidays

·        Marketing Communications - Develop and implement effective integrated marketing communications programs across digital and traditional channels  

·        Campaign Administration – Work with internal departments to source relevant product for tactical campaigns, develop and maintain campaign budgets as well as deliver invoices on completion of camapigns.

·        Website & Social platforms – Content creation and management for the Skimax website and social channels.  

·        Digital Marketing - Co-ordinate and manage digital marketing activity including display advertising and consumer communication material.

·        Copywriting & Editing - Copywriting and editing support for marketing collateral including advertisements, eDM etc.

·        Relationship Management – Develop & maintain strong relationships across internal & external stakeholders including DMO's, Ski Resorts, Hotels and other tourism partners.

·        Partnerships – Establish and manage key brand and trade partnerships and to identify joint sales & marketing opportunities

·        PR – Coordinate press releases

·        Events – Coordinate promotional events 

      Manage Agency Partners - Manage relationships with digital, creative and technical agency partners

·        Sales Support – produce a variety of sales support material (brochures, flyers, merchandise)

Requirements

1. A minimum of 2 years marketing experience
2. Tertiary qualification
3. Ability to create and maintain key relationships with internal and external partners
4. A passion for all things ski/snowboarding
5. International ski or snowboarding experience preferred, bonus points if you have done a season or two on the slopes.
6. Proficiency with Mailchimp and Silverstripe CMS will be highly regarded
