On the famed Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley, Murray Street Vineyards maintain a renowned reputation for one of the best tasting experiences on offer in the Barossa.
 
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Functions and Events Coordinator to join our team. The position will also act as back up to our MSV Club Concierge and Tasting Room as and when required.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Organise, coordinate and deliver Functions and Events at the Murray Street Tasting Room and Winery;
  • Ensuring the complete administration and execution of all planned events including preparation and follow up of proposals and full ownership of the event;
  • Liaison with other departments to ensure all preparations for the Functions and Events are running to schedule, all tasks are actioned and completed;
  • Sourcing new leads and generating new business;
  • Handling all customer enquiries with a prompt and professional manner, demonstrating high standards in customer service; and
  • Assisting MSV Club Concierge with database management and promotional activity.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in the successful coordination and implementation of Functions and Events in a busy venue;
  • Solid wine industry knowledge and/or relevant qualifications;
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills; and
  • A great team player, who proactively looks to assist where possible.

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this is a part-time contract, initially for 1 year. You must be available to work weekends and public holidays as and when required.
