About the role:-

We are seeking a passionate, ambitious, proactive and self-driven individual who is willing to learn and support the team; as well as grow into a marketing manager role.  The main focus of this position is to support the Marketing Department to implement and promote the Departments strategy. In this role you will be exposed to marketing and communications, brand strategy, public relations, sales promotions, events and trade shows as well as gain an understanding of other departments from a marketing perspective. Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant is a true support role working closely with the Marketing team to achieve the Company goals and strategy.

Your key responsibilities to support the marketing strategies include:

• Coordinating, planning, and assisting the set-up of key Marketing and Company events i.e.  Trade exhibitions, consumer shows, product launches, VIP visits etc
• Develop, and co-ordinate marketing communications, including brochures, newsletters, flyers, presentations and exhibition-related materials in line with company brand guidelines
• Assist with the collation and presentation of data for consumer insights purposes
• Manage sponsorships such as industry events, dinners, race days
• Support the Category teams to assist with implementation of the marketing plans
• Store visits as required to assist with merchandising and to monitor demonstrations
• Manage and maintain marketing assets, Gant charts, spreadsheets, folders etc

The ideal candidate will have some prior marketing experience and a willingness to learn and develop into a marketing manager role. The candidate needs to be passionate, ambitious and pro-active. Experience with events coordination, social media marketing are advantageous. Marketing graduates are encouraged to apply.
