Contract eCommerce UI/UX Designer opportunity for an expanding international organisation.

Description
This is a eCommerce UI / UX Designer - Contract role that will report into to the Head of Design and will be responsible for:
- Development of requirements, specifications, wireframes, prototypes and other design artefacts using Sketch and Invision
- Exchange of designs to developers in Zeplin
- Supporting the project and product management functions by contributing to planning and monitoring activities
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers as well as advising on UX solutions
- Collaborate with the project team, including internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop the UI / UX requirements
- Contribute to the development of test plans, cases, and the execution of testing
Profile
This eCommerce UI / UX Designer - Contract role requires full working rights within Australian and experience in UX/UI in the retail/eCommerce space. The following skill set is also needed for this role:
- Proven experience in a UI/UX design role, leading large projects, preferably eCommerce.
- Extensive experience executing the UX design process to develop personas, user journey mapping, customer journey maps, task analysis, storyboards, wireframes and user Interface designs
- Excellent in standard industry design tools and software (i.e. Sketch, Axure, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc)
- Ability to write responsive HTML and CSS to produce viable responsive UI designs and HTML content layouts
- Ability to translate and document UX / UI requirements into user stories, functional specifications as input into technical development work streams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills and style
- Familiar with enterprise content management systems
