Unique opportunity to join a business that is literally doubling in size!  This has opened up an opportunity for a passionate Marketing person to join the business in their new Brisbane Head Office!

As the office is new, BRAND new, you will be the first person to join the GM and CEO in the Brisbane office whilst others work interstate.  Initially, this role is a mix of Marketing and Administration Management with about 50% of the role being Marketing and 50% being a mix of Executive Assistant and general Administration type duties.  This role is really about the potential of where you will be in 6-12+ months so although initially you must be happy performing not only your marketing duties, but performing general administration functions, we are looking for someone who has the potential to be their Senior Marketing Manager in the not too distant future!!! 

Maybe you are an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator who is ready to take that step in their career?  Maybe you are currently working as a Marketing Manager but want a role that is going to continue to grow and have the potential to be working with both Australian and International markets?

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the GM in relation to Marketing - get heavily involved in company rebrand, new website, logo refresh
• Brand Management plus moving forward, the ability to contribute to the development of new brands
• Work with external marketing agencies for advertising
• Assist with design of marketing collateral (brochures, catalogues, flyers, promotional items, etc) using InDesign or similar
• Maintain the website
• Events management including trade shows both in Australia and overseas markets (must be able to travel)
• Develop newsletter including Video newsletter and roll out to customers
• Sponsorships (both in Australia and overseas markets)
• Identify PR opportunities for the business and work with media partners to generate PR coverage
• Social media - work with external agencies
• Provide EA support to CEO and in particular the GM
• Travel bookings for management and staff
• Excel spread sheets (able to use pivot tables, v-look ups etc - will use complex spread sheets already set up and know how NOT to destroy current formulas)
• Assist with Sales administration - data base maintenance/data entry, type up minutes of meetings, PowerPoint presentations, electronic filing, set up for client meetings, document preparation
• Ad hoc duties associated with setting up a new office!

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/attributes:

• Tertiary qualifications in marketing or similar
• Driven individual who has a genuine passion for Marketing and wants to move towards a Senior Marketing Management position - but MUST be happy to spend at least 6+ months in a mixed role where you will also perform 50% EA/Admin duties!
• Proven marketing experience where you have performed similar duties to the above - marketing exp needs to be broad and is not suited to someone with a pure Digital Marketing background
• Graphics skills using packages such as InDesign or similar essential (the ability to assist with flyers, brochures and general marketing collateral) - this role does not require someone to be a Graphic Designer
• Experience in FMCG industry or Retail Marketing highly regarded but not essential
