Marketing Executive

Objective

The Marketing Planning Manager is responsible for working closely with CEO and Sales team to facilitate the execution, tracking and reporting of marketing programs that drive leads and sales, ensuring all are delivered on time and on budget.  This role is specifically responsible for executing the marketing plan. The Marketing Executive will be relied upon to maintain and manage the necessary processes and tools to support the development and tracking of our marketing activities.

Reporting to: CEO

Responsibilities (key tasks and requirements of the role)

Calendar management, planning and execution

  • Support, manage and maintain the marketing/campaign plan and calendar;
    • analysing the results of marketing plan activities with the channel marketers;
    • determining priorities for long and short-term programs
  • Define the priorities and approvals framework for campaigns/briefs to effectively manage planning
  • Create weekly/monthly status reports
  • Ensure the effectiveness and accountability of marketing activities
  • Report on performance on a regular basis, manage upward communications.

Voice of the Customer

  • Drive strategy to continually acquire new customers
  • Work closely with the Sales teams to ensure activities are aligned and that valuable insights are being pushed into the business for improved customer experiences
  • Create and embed processes where actionable insights are fed into the business to help both acquire and retain prospects/clients

Analytics and Performance Measurement

  • Define the best construct for reporting results, ensuring timely reporting, analysis of campaign results and delivery of insights to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure that the CEO is kept aware of progress against deadlines and budget and raise any potential time or budget over/ under runs

Team Leadership, Management and Development

  • Build relationships across the business (internal/external partners) for improved business results
  • Participate in voice of the customer activities, including focus groups - (as appropriate)
  • Proactively gain knowledge across company’s products and services and those of its competitors and relay findings of such to internal stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and desire to contribute valuable and innovative ideas to the initiatives and products being developed
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships across functions and the ability to work, influence and negotiate in a constantly changing environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress and Marketing Automation software.
  • Excellent oral, social media, written and presentation skills and a positive "Can Do" philosophy and approach.
  • Ideally Salesforce/Pardot experience.
