Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) provides quality and innovative services to achieve the best outcomes for current and future generations of Australians with vision and/or hearing loss.

RIDBC has a diverse range of services including allied health, specialist preschool and school education, therapy and health services, Australia’s largest cochlear implant program also an internationally renowned centre for research and professional education.

RIDBC is going through an exciting period of change which will see us co-located with Macquarie University and enable us to design a future to do more for those who need us by reaching more people through expansion of our services and partnerships.

As such, we are seeking an ambitious and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team. This is a full time opportunity and reports directly to Head of Services Marketing.

The successful candidate will be professional, proactive, organised and highly motivated with a can-do attitude and strong digital competencies. The role requires a strong Marketer with the ability to implement effective marketing campaigns and activities, working cross functionally with key internal and external stakeholders across the varied services of RIDBC.

In addition to providing Marketing support and consultancy advice across RIDBC, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate they meet the following selection criteria, which includes:

  • Marketing planning and scheduling
  • Creative briefing, design & print production coordination
  • Social media and digital marketing campaign development, delivery and analysis
  • Website and social media content development and management
  • Strong digital skills to develop, implement and evaluate campaigns
  • Copywriting and editing (including writing for brochures, publications, the web, social media channels, e-communications)
  • CRM/database management
  • Project management expertise
  • Media relations experience (desirable)
  • Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation http://www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au/
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Commitment to providing a secure and happy working environment
