Located on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Australia’s premier theme parks, Dreamworld and WhiteWater World offer the best of both worlds with double the thrills and double the fun in one convenient location. An exciting full-time opportunity exists to join our Marketing team as our Loyalty and Partnerships Executive.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the purpose of the Loyalty and Partnerships Executive is to manage and leverage our key brand partnerships. In addition, you’ll have a pivotal role to play in the implementation of a customer loyalty program; and drive the marketing and planning of consumer events and inpark activations. This is one of the most bragworthy marketing gigs in town. The role is so diverse, one minute you could be working with cute tiger cubs, the next being immersed in the world of Lego, Hot Wheels, ABC Kids, and singing ‘hot potato’ with the Wiggles.

Key duties include:

  • Leveraging our key partnerships such as DreamWorks Animation, The Wiggles, ABC KIDS, LEGO and Hot Wheels and maintaining contractual obligations. 
  • Develop and execute promotions to support key business objectives, and work with third parties and media on joint promotions including creative development, permits, terms and conditions, prize draw and prize winner fulfilment. 
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of key inpark activations (short term inpark initiatives) such as Stormtroopers Weekend, Wiggles appearances and Park after Dark events. 
  • Driving the marketing and communication plan to support key inpark activations and working with the marketing team to ensure timely and effective communication across website, social, eDM, inpark communication, promotions, PR and advertising. 
  • Assist with the implementation of a loyalty program to support our passholder and members. 
  • Develop and implement a strategy to support our LEGO VIP members and database to improve retail communication. 
  • Assess any new partnership or sponsorship opportunities in line with the organisations key commercial objectives. 
  • Post analysis reporting on promotions, inpark activations and loyalty initiatives. 
To be considered, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
  • Degree in Marketing, Communication or related discipline, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience of managing multiple stakeholders, and high level of professionalism in communicating with key brand partnerships for mutual commercial benefit. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in an environment with competing demands and multiple objectives
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in a collaborative team environment.
