At present, we are inviting applications for a Permanent Full Time Digital and Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications department in a newly-created position at the School.
Reporting directly to the department head, the successful applicant will focus on online communications and marketing, specifically co-ordinating all social media activity, and working on digital campaigns and monitoring.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a social media plan for the School, segmented according to different parts of our operation
- Coordinate content and update external website
- Source stories and images for school publications, marketing collateral, and other media
- Ad-hoc liaison with HR Manager in relation to LinkedIn and digital recruitment platforms
- Assist in various communications and marketing projects
- Photograph daily School events
The ideal candidate:
- Prepared to commit to the goals of a Sacred Heart education and participate in the 'life' of the School
- Recently graduated or close to completing a qualification in marketing, communications, journalism, media or similar
- Comfortable in manipulating the 'back-end' of external websites and platforms
- An eye for trends and areas of interest that capture specific audiences, with an underlying commercial acumen
- A confident and skilled verbal and written communicator with impeccable accuracy
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- In possession of a valid Working with Children Check
Candidates must be able to highlight some demonstrated experience in managing the online presence of a client / organisation, including developing, posting, and tracking content, analysing outputs, and then reviewing and redeveloping digital strategy accordingly, with a view to achieving commercial outcomes.
