Families Through Surrogacy is a non-profit organisation that runs best-practice conferences & seminars focused on bringing together intended parents, surrogates, families and fertility experts. This role is a Maternity Leave Contract starting in September until June 2019, the role is 3 days per week.  

Key Responsibilities include:

EVENT AND SPONSOR MANAGEMENT

·         Coordinate and project manage events and sponsorships

 Events

o   Venue quotes, negotiation, selection & management

o   Event set up, registrations

o   Onsite event management

Sponsorship

o   Sponsor package customization, fulfillment & follow up

o   Sponsor invoicing, renewals & follow up

 

DIGITAL MARKETING 

·         Preparing marketing materials including website, e-newsletters and graphics (liaising with our designer) 

·         Managing our Social Media pages and advertising

·         Managing & implementing website updates

·         Database management & updates (Excel & Salesforce)

 

Secondary

·         Representing Families Through Surrogacy and its values of best-practice, support and consumer empowerment in a professional manner

 

Hours: 24 hours/week with potential to move to 28 hrs -  Some domestic and international travel opportunities

 

Essential Criteria 

·         3+ years within marketing and events administration/ coordination 

·         Attention to detail

·         Event management experience

·         Excellent administration skills

·         Sponsorship experience

·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·         An ability to manage multiple stakeholders 

·         A confident, proactive ‘can-do’ attitude

·         Experience with working with clients from a diverse range of cultures

Desirable

·         Experience using Salesforce and Mail Chimp

·         Experience working in a Not for Profit or Small Business environment

·         Marketing qualifications

·         Digital Marketing and social media experience

 

Salary

$65,000 - $72,000 inclusive of super pro rata for a 3 day week
