About our Client
Our clients is one of Australia's fastest growing non-bank consumer finance organisations. WIth two core finance brands focused on very targeted market segments, our client's digital marketing department has been growing steadily and has decided to manage its Paid Search marketing in-house. Therefore, an outstanding opportunity exists for an accomplished Paid Search (SEM) specialist to manage, optimise and grow this crucial lead generation and branding component of our clients business. 

Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Digital, this newly created position will primarily Lead and Manage our clients Paid Search campaigns and will contribute to the ongoing development of our clients SEO and Social Media programs.
  
Key Functional Requirements
  • Manage the internal Google AdWords accounts across two of our client's key finance brands.
  • Monitor paid search trends and investigate irregularities in performance to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation
  • Evaluate keywords, trends, competitors, and market behaviour for the
  • Identify opportunities that will advance SEM initiatives.
  • Coordinate the evolution and construction of automation tools to deliver on business goals
  • Work with team members from various departments in creating effective approaches for multiple SEM campaigns using industry best practices.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns targeting customer personas.
  • Develop testing, e.g., A/B or multivariate tests, for key SEM performance levers such as ad copy and landing pages
  • Monitor KPIs to optimise campaign performance across all SEM channels

  • Minimum 3 years experience within a busy agency or digital marketing department.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Ability to apply industry & technical knowledge to company goals
  • Extensive experience working closely with SEM Bidding Platforms (Kenshoo, Marin, etc.)
  • Proficient knowledge of web analytics platforms (eg. Adobe, Google Analytics)
  • Experience managing other performance marketing channels including programmatic, retargeting, social, email, etc.)
  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
