About the role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing significant budgets large and small, driving results and managing both direct response and brand campaigns. You will be an expert on Facebook/Instagram and other social media platforms and demonstrate a hunger to deliver results, take ownership and share knowledge.

Key responsibilities in the is role are:

• Daily campaign management including setup, monitoring and optimization.
• Collaborate with Key stakeholders to develop and test creative to meet client objectives.
• Partner with Account managers to understand strategy, client needs and create a buying strategy to meet objectives.
• Accurately deliver and report on the analytics that measure paid social advertising.
• Demonstrate thought leadership on how to best execute paid social media platforms beyond advertising to drive business results.
• Lead and execute strategic social media paid strategies for large brands.
• Ability to lead paid social media buys and tactical recommendations including audience strategy, targeting opportunities, pricing formats and platform capabilities.
• Ensure media buys are executed flawlessly.
• Provide analysis and develop optimization recommendations based on KPIs for paid social media campaigns.
• Track and analyse the performance of media buys to effectively meet client KPIs.
• Prepare, research and present paid social media plans.
• Experience implementing process and driving consistency across all accounts.
• Lead client work sessions for various platforms and campaigns-continually bringing new thinking and guiding client business objectives.
• Mentor, train, and empower team members. 
• Ability to multi-task and work on a large number of projects at once.
• Confidence in executing campaigns with lead generation and E-com inclusive of google analytics and pixel retargeting.

Skills and experience

To be successful in securing this role you must have:

• Min 2 years experience in social or 3+ years experience in media buying.
• In depth knowledge of Facebook Business Manager is a must.
• Hands on approach with the ability to create and implement strategy.
• A strong understanding of organic growth and to successfully drive results.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate a strong point of view and back it up.
• High social media and paid media acumen inclusive of Facebook, Instagram and other top social platforms.
