COMPANY:

Our client began its journey in 2012 to become the partner of choice for American sports apparel brands for Australia & New Zealand.  Our has developed a strong association with globally iconic leagues including NBA, MLB and NFL.

ROLE:

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for planning and implementing the Sales strategy across all brands and aligning the marketing strategy through a collaborative approach. Whilst mentoring and developing the team the role will be accountable for department cohesiveness and hitting the critical path to ensure on time Trade Partner delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the Sales strategy in a collaborative way.
  • Oversee and sign off on the Marketing Strategy
  • Sales team management, mentoring and training
  • Key account relationship management.
  • Accountable for on time delivery of the critical path across sales and marketing (whilst collaborating with Product, Operations and Finance to achieve the overall companies critical path)
  • Manage and measure sales agents in Australia and NZ.
  • Conduct a weekly meeting that updates each department (marketing, operations and finance) on important past and future critical path moments.
  • Building accurate sales forecasting templates to assist our clients sales executives in achieving brand and company goals.
  • Provide support to the Trade Marketing Manager on creation of the yearly budget which aligns with the sales budget and provides added value to retailers.
  • Weekly Dashboard meeting with the Managing Director (provide detailed sales analysis of our key partners with insights into new opportunities and where issues are arising)
  • Half Yearly Go To Market Presentations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum 5 years experience in a similar cross functional role
  • Thorough understanding and proven management of critical path
  • A proven track record of managing and servicing key accounts
  • Strong leadership, training and coaching skills
  • Must have an excellent understanding of the US Sports apparel market
