Contract: 2 Years’ contract AO5 level and 12 months’ contract AO6 level

AO5 Community and Stakeholder Engagement Officer
Seeking a community engagement and stakeholder management professional. Experience in an environment dealing with major infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or civil engineering sector, will be highly regarded.
This role requires specific community engagement and stakeholder management skills rather than general communications experience.
There will also be a high component of written communication therefore experience in responding to external stakeholders and executive correspondence, and using online systems, especially within a Government context would be advantageous.
Tasks:
- Provide community engagement and stakeholder management support to South Coast Region, major projects including the development and implementation of communication strategies and key messages.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and interest groups including development of appropriate responses to incoming external and executive correspondence.
- Uses an understanding of government correspondence techniques, including databases, CRMs and other systems, to develop and tailor materials to enhance and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Prepare a variety of high-quality communication materials for various mediums and audiences, such as media releases, ministerial briefing notes, social media posts, etc.
- Preferably have a working knowledge of Consultation Manager CRM system.
AO6 Senior Community and Stakeholder Engagement Officer
Seeking a high level community engagement and stakeholder management professional. Experience in an environment dealing with major infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or civil engineering sector, will be highly regarded. Note: this role requires specific community engagement and stakeholder management skills rather than general communications experience.

- Provide high-level community engagement and stakeholder management support to South Coast Region, for a major road project including the development and implementation of communication strategies and key messages.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and interest groups for a high profile project.
- Prepare a variety of high-quality communication materials for various mediums and audiences, such as media releases, ministerial briefing notes, social media posts, etc, with a particular emphasis on behaviour change.
