Your New Opportunity

The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement strategic marketing activities to support the retail arm of the business in Australia and New Zealand, including truck parts sales, servicing and retail showroom space.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and enhance the brand image of related retail brands that form part of Penske in Australia and New Zealand;
  • Plan, develop and deliver retail catalogues on a regular basis including promotion of parts and services;
  • Work effectively with the on and off highway aftersales departments and parts warehouse to develop and implement effective campaigns to support and grow their business areas;
  • Develop, implement and manage the retail showroom strategy;
  • Implement industry event activities to support the growth of the brands and products within key marketplaces;
  • Ongoing analysis and reporting on all retail activities to track effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) including recommendations for continuous improvement;
  • Support business activities / objectives of General Managers and branch/dealer level communications;
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relations with national teams, branches and the dealer network.

About you:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing or other related discipline with at least 5 years professional experience;
  • Experience in B2C / Retail in truck or auto industry is preferred;
  • Superior attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
  • Demonstrated management, planning and operational capabilities;
  • Analytical and strategic skills with a high motivation to lead and work within a team;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of agency work;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications and the InDesign software suite;
  • Ability to understand and respond to the needs of internal/external customers and consistently strive to exceed customer requirements;
  • Ability to travel to branch and event locations.
