The Role

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate, result driven and experienced Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our fast-paced Sales & Marketing team at Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport.

Reporting to our Area Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for: 

• Providing administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Team (and other departments as required e.g. Food & Beverage)
• Assisting the team in the production of reports, proposals, mail-outs and outgoing communication material
• Organising & maintaining a logical and up to date filing system
• Assisting the Area Director of Sales & Marketing and Key Account Manager with research, analysis of results, compilation of monthly Sales/Marketing reports
• Telemarketing of new and existing clients
• Coordinating local area marketing promotions, including producing posters, newsletters and distributing flyers and EDM’s
• Participating in the marketing artwork design process, including the design of flyers, menus, posters and newsletters
• Conducting market research to analyse data regarding consumer patterns and preferences

What are we looking for:

• Previous experience preferred, working within a Hospitality environment
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment, under pressure and meet deadlines
• Previous administrative experience including developed computer skills in; MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and Delphi (Preferred).
• Previous use of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, etc)
• Exceptional attention to detail and clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and manage details for a variety of projects
• The ability to work in a sales environment with the finesse to convert an enquiry to a sale
• Creative and innovative approach to work
