The role:         

As Content and Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for the conceptualisation and production of engaging, unique and compelling written content for various media channels such as television, outdoor, printed publications, videos and our website, mobile and social media campaigns, as well as direct to member communications.

As a thorough professional, you will take absolute pride in delivering, creating and maintaining written content to inspire and connect with Hostplus’ key audiences and reflect the Hostplus brand. You will be able to draw on your previous experiences and expertise to offer strategic advice around best practice multi-platform content.

Your key responsibilities, but will not be limited to:

  • Create and maintain written content which includes ad copy, web and social copy and editorial
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine key themes and messaging
  • Ensure all content aligns with the Hostplus brand, tone of voice, legal and compliance requirements
  • Monitor and respond to member queries via social media and direct servicing enquiries to the relevant team
  • Execute social media strategy developed by third party agency and monitor reporting and budgeting

To be successful in this exciting opportunity, you will be a resourceful, creative and insightful individual. You’re a natural story teller and have exceptional ability to communicate effectively to engage your audience.

Experience in the superannuation or financial services industry will be highly regarded, however is not essential. Tertiary qualifications in either journalism, marketing or communications would be highly desirable, whilst proven experience in delivering written content in-house, within an agency environment or custom publishing would be highly desirable.

Successful applicants will be required to provide a portfolio of work.
