We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in digital content production, including writing and editing technical content, graphic design, social content, E-commerce, working within CRMs and advanced website maintenance, CMS, CSS, and analytics.
About the role
As a Digital Content Coordinator your primary responsibilities will be creating, producing, editing, and proofreading all digital content including eDMs, product information and landing pages, promotional activity, club and loyalty information, etc. You will also contribute to the development and expansion of Jaycar Electronic Group’s online presence by working together with both our technical and strategic promotions teams to maintain site standards and future site development.
The digital content team works closely with multiple departments within the Group, so strong communication skills are required. Tasks require strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create, develop and manage content for the Jaycar Electronics Group websites and marketing systems
- Production of eDMs & promotional material
- Edit and proofread all web content
- Co-ordinate various web projects
- Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all JYC sites
- Stay current with emerging web technologies
- Ensure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference
- Track and report on all site metrics
- Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors
Skills & Experience
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Minimum 3yrs in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and experience with popular content management systems
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline; i.e. Marketing, Communications, IT etc.
- Previous working experience producing content and production for website/s
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Advanced Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
