Located within the University of Canberra, the Australian Centre for Financial and Environmental Compliance (ACFEC) seeks an Events Coordinator to join our small team.
ACFEC provides training for public sector organisations throughout Australia.
The successful applicant will be energetic and have an ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will have a highly professional work ethic and excellent communication skills. You must have a track record for consistency and reliability in the workplace.
1. POSITION DETAILS
Position Title: Events Coordinator
Reports to: Training Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: University of Canberra
Hours: 38 hours per week
2. POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for:
- Assisting in the management and marketing of ACFEC's training courses
- Liaison with clients, students and trainers
- General office duties as required
3. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- 2+ years experience in an event/marketing position
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational, document management and time management skills
- A professional telephone manner
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- A high degree of initiative and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a small, energetic and committed team
- Previous experience working within a Registered Training Organisation will be highly regarded but not essential
4. RENUMERATION
- Rate of pay: $55,000 - $70,000
