Working as part of the broader Brand and Corporate Communications team, you’ll have the opportunity to work cross some great community and sponsorships. You will work on the planning phase through to execution and rolling up your sleeves and getting into sponsorship activation on-the-ground.
From managing the MyState Student Film Festival, working across key sponsorships such as the Australian Wooden Boat Festival and for sports fans, you’ll get to work on the Hobart Hurricanes partnership (even if you don’t love cricket now, you’ll love it after the next Big Bash season)!
You will also need to be passionate about making a difference in our local communities, as well as a great communicator – you will be dealing with plenty of stakeholders both internally and externally.
To keep you busy year round, we have three brands which you’ll work across – MyState Bank, Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees and for warm weather lovers, The Rock in Central Queensland. So, occasional travel may be required.
One thing we can guarantee you is that no two days will ever be the same.
Ideally, you’ll have a degree in marketing or communications and at least 3-5 years experience working in a similar position or a marketing role.
