Our client is a global FMCG organisation with multiple manufacturing facilities and employing over 20,000 people worldwide. Due to considerable growth, they are currently seeking an Insights Consultant on a contract basis.


Supporting the Senior Insights Manager, you will: 

  • Support primary and secondary research to provide actionable insights. Types of research may include brand health tracking, innovation concept testing, sensory research, communications testing, shopper journeys, decision trees and segmentation along with all other ad hoc research.
  • Analyse and synthesise learning from research, draw conclusions, and deliver recommendations that are meaningful and focus on the ‘So What’ and ‘Now What’
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing and Category Management for relevant projects
  • Ensuring the voice of the consumer/shopper is understood and adopted by contributing to brand, category and customer plans with actionable insights 
  • Manage research projects from start to finish including vendor management, questionnaire design, sampling, reporting on-time delivery and quality of work


To be considered, you should have the following:

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in consumer or shopper insights
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of primary research methodologies (Quantitative and Qualitative) is mandatory
  • Working knowledge of third party syndicated research (e.g., Mintel, IRI, Datamonitor, Euromonitor, etc.) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and ‘partner’ with cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Must have a passion in understanding what makes consumers and shoppers tick
  • Strong organisational, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management
