A fantastic opportunity to enhance the young member experience and engagement in our Club.
RACV are seeking a highly engaging and sales focussed individual to appoint to the newly created position of Member Event Consultant Young Business Connector. The primary responsibility of the role will be to develop and deliver a portfolio of business and networking events, workshops and social activities that appeal to RACV Club Young Professionals.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing the Mentoring program including the on boarding of mentor/mentee and the alumni program.
- Delivering events for young members which increase member utilisation and satisfaction and achieve target income contributions.
- Maintaining an understanding of young Club member wants, needs and expectations, and implementing ways of meeting these needs and increasing member value.
- Ability to originate a concept and take it all the way through to completion.
- Managing the mentoring Brand Ambassador.
- Ensuring the effective commercial and financial management of operation and utilisation of resources to meet operational objectives and targets.
About you
- A proactive mindset to encourage a culture of teamwork, collaboration and innovation with other departments.
- Knowledge of membership within a club environment and understanding of the hospitality sector.
- Similar role held in a corporate membership based organisation would be highly desired.
- Sound experience in event planning and management.
- Demonstrable knowledge of financial management principles.
- Working knowledge of relevant internal systems (OPERA).
- Solid understanding of sales principles and techniques.
