The Head of Business Excellence plays a crucial role in developing commercial (marketing and sales) and medical operational plans and enabling teams to deliver upon their strategic goals. Working across Sales, Medical and Marketing, you will partner with the business to understand their needs and define the processes to deliver commercial excellence. This role also plays a key role in developing and enhancing multichannel communication capability at Roche.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead and manage a team of 6, including Sales and Product Training Managers, a Commercial Process Manager and a Senior Administrative Assistant
  • Develop, manage and evolve a business excellence framework, putting the commercial and medical strategy into practice
  • Support the Roche 2020 vision, optimizing our brands and culture & capability to align with the APAC vision.
  • Drive and support the up skilling of Brand Teams through the engagement of Skills and Product Training Managers and to allow the Roche’s Product Specialists to demonstrate sales excellence.
  • Partner with the business to continually improve commercial plans, marketing and sales excellence,

· To be successful in this role you will be a proven people manager and strategic thinker. You will have experience in the field of sales, marketing and multichannel communication, and have a background in upskilling and developing the effectiveness of commercial teams.

You should be degree educated (or equivalent) in a field closely related to life sciences, business/commerce or Human Resources and preferably have a working background within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Sales management will be highly valued, as is previous experience working in either marketing or with other customer-facing teams.
