The Role
Provide advice and guidance to the project team in the development and implementation of long-term strategies for an effective community relation management. Liaise with business regions and senior management to ensure understanding and practice of community engagement is embedded within the company.
Duties
- Research, develop and implement a range of innovative and effective opportunities to engage with clients and local community
- Actively monitor and utilise companies' social media sites for community engagement initiatives and participation in on-line discussions
- Support projects teams, in managing any community engagement initiatives or concerns, communicate and promote project work activity to relevant communities/clients
- Manage and oversee the production of external communications such as capability statements, newsletters and other innovative communications
- Keep up to date with corporate press releases and act upon the releases accordingly
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or similar
- Experience in a marketing, public relations or communications role
- Experience in promotion through both traditional and digital channels
- Strong and effective communication skills, with demonstrated relationship management and stakeholder engagement experience
- Copy writing and editing skills including experience in writing publications, newsletters and online content
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
