The Senior Marketing Manager’s primary focus will be to develop and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy that champions our brand, love of storytelling and the voices of our users. Being a tech company, we are looking for someone with a strong and demonstrable understanding of digital marketing tactics coupled with a broad understanding of traditional marketing strategies across both ATL and BTL channels.

Priorities – the work

  •  Own and deliver full-funnel marketing strategies that deliver on growth targets
  • Lead, mentor and collaborate with some of Australia’s most talented marketing, brand and communications specialists and agencies - delivering “out of the box”, creative and highly impactful campaigns
  • Build and implement best in class marketing campaigns using a variety of ATL and BTL channels such as advertising, social media, digital, experiential, events, brand partnerships and sponsorships
  • Contribute to current digital marketing activities in collaboration with our Digital Marketing Manager
  • Develop and execute campaigns by region that recognise the uniqueness of each new Hireup community, ensuring all marketing activities feel local and personal
  • Identify and analyse likely performance drivers and provide clear and actionable adjustments to the marketing strategy going forward
  • Work closely with our product team and Digital Marketing Lead to improve conversion rates
  • Implement a test and learn approach by building region-specific campaign learning frameworks and testing new measurement and research platforms as necessary

Skills – the person

  • Bachelor’s degree or above and 7 + years’ experience in a related role with a well-loved, B2C brand
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading and mentoring an acquisition-focused marketing team
  • Highly creative with experience developing and implementing both ATL and BTL marketing strategies and campaigns for innovative, people-centric brands
  • Commercial, acquisition and growth mindset and strong exposure to, or experience leading digital marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Hands-on team player with the ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Brilliant marketing portfolio featuring examples of collaborative and self-initiated projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to use data to drive actionable insights
  • Inclined towards taking initiative in a collaborative and integrated way to build solutions
  • Ability to learn on the fly and exercise intellectual agility
  • Strong connection to, or interest in building an understanding of the Australian disability sector and community
  • Approach work with high-energy, drive and internal motivation
  • Exhibit adaptability, resilience, transparency, trustworthiness, passion and innate curiosity
