The Role

GDR Group is a fast-paced marketing company that specialises in local area marketing and storytelling for brands that operate across Australia. Due to our continued success we’re looking to hire a focussed Marketing Campaign Manager to help us achieve our ambitious goals, and those of the clients who trust us to grow their brands.

As a key member of the marketing team, the Marketing Campaign Manager will take ownership of all things marketing and digital for a growing number of important clients while also helping the Head of Marketing to drive the strategy and innovation for GDR Group.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver multi-channel (web, digital, social, offline) marketing campaigns for our clients.
  • Maintain, nuture and build close working relationships with external clients to ensure account retention and growth.
  • Manage and develop a marketing co-ordinator and take the lead on work-flow planning with our in-house creative resource.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing in developing and executing the GDR Group marketing strategy.
  • Manage ongoing marketing campaign analysis & ROI reporting – both on new and existing channels, utilising Google Analytics, and other identified tools.
  • Deliver email and paid media campaigns/communications to identified customer segments for GDR Group and our clients with a view to understanding customer behaviour & identifying optimisation opportunities.
  • Lead, support and manage social media campaigns on behalf of our clients, including paid social campaigns using Facebook Business Manager.
  • Devise, develop and implement social media content plans for clients including scheduling, optimising and reporting.
  • Set-up and run Google AdWords campaigns for a range of clients – optimising results to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Updating, maintaining, and creating content for our company website and the websites we manage for our clients.
  • Execute basic on and off page SEO to support our online strategy and that of our clients.
  • Write copy for various online and offline channels and for different audiences - this includes blog posts, press releases, thought leadership articles, advertising copy and more.

Skills

  • 3+ years Marketing Agency experience with a focus on Digital but underpinned by a solid understanding of all marketing channels. You must be comfortable with handling a range of campaigns from design and print only, to digital only and everything in between.
  • Experience of effectively managing people.
  • Be credible in front of clients and be an expert at managing expectations and deliverables.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in planning, executing, reporting, and optimising campaigns.
  • Solid presenter, with ability to articulate a strategy/plan/approach to key clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A proven ability to work independently with good project management skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Motivated self-starter and able to deliver positive outcomes for our clients.
  • Degree level qualification in business / marketing.
