The role

Forming part of the Senior Leadership team and reporting into the Managing Director, this role is responsible for driving the strategic innovation agenda and introduce a decision-making culture through a rigorous, consumer insight led process.

You will drive and achieve strategic outcomes and sales revenue through product innovation and portfolio growth through the identification of market opportunities and the advancement of established and existing products.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Identify key consumer and market insights,
  • Develop and implement a structured process for new product development,
  • Champion the culture of innovation across the business,
  • Lead cross departmental teams to deliver on our innovation commitment,
  • Develop a rolling pipeline of new innovation and product advancements,

The candidate

This role is highly autonomous in nature. The processes and strategies relevant to the role will come from your expertise. As such, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to create and implement a framework, rather than work from an existing one. You will be a proven people leader who can deliver results through cross functional teams.

We’re all in the business of results and outcomes. Results are key; we will need to see your ability to bring products to life from concept through to actualisation in a structured, analytical and commercially viable manner. Previous experience in an insights or innovation role is a must have; a tertiary qualification looked upon favourably.
