The role
The VHA is looking for an Event Coordinator who can hit the ground running with the passion and creativity to help create quality events for its members.You will provide end to end event management for the calendar of events. Your role within the small team will be varied and would include:
- End to end coordination of events program in collaboration with key stakeholders. Events program includes annual conference and a range of smaller (networking and informative) niche events.
- Actively drive event participation among members
- Implementation of corporate partnership events benefits
- Coordinate event budgets and develop post implementation event reviews
- Prepare all event collateral including plans, briefing documents and other associated member communications
- General administration support to the team
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
- 5+ years in management of medium and large scale events.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage a range of stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines
- A high level of attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience
- Related marketing, business, project or events qualification
Desirable
Knowledge or experience working with or in the public sector or health industry
