My client offers something different; call it a one-stop-shop for design, way-finding, signage, urban art and architectural features, lighting and digital displays.

We need a Bid Manager to join the team in Melbourne. The team is growing due to increased opportunity for business and this role is integral to the success of major tenders and key strategic opportunities. 

The role will be responsible for the development and management of key elements, co-ordination of the internal team deliverables and the development of the overall submission.  You will be coordinating the first proposals and submissions across all areas of the business working closely with the Business Development Manager.

Key responsibilities;
  • Plan and manage submissions from opportunity through to conversion
  • Managing timing and submission elements
  • Assist in the development of key materials to support our bids and to refine approaches
  • Build an array of key bid materials for each sector and project type and manage content
  • Collaboration with the team to support priorities
  • Team management across major deliverables within the bid process
  • Development of content for submissions
  • Provide strategic advice on approach and continuousimprovements
  • Report to the director on activity
  • Assist with strategic thinking and direction
  • Copy writing of custom content from team
  • Collaboration with marketing and design to align look and
    feel, approaches and activities
The successful candidate will posses;
  • Experience:
    - MUST have experience in a Design or Architectural Industry environment i.e. Graphic/Design Studio, Architectural Studio
    - Qualifications in Marketing; or Design related degree; graphic design; communication design; branding
    - Adobe Suite / In design experience is advantageous
  • Skills:
    - Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team; be self-motivated
    - Demonstrated planning and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
    - Ability to lead and coordinate internal teams to manage deliverables
    - Creative problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
    - Effective verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
    - Ability to copywrite new content
